NAO Visits Grade 4 English Class at First Primary School Čakovec

Grade 4 students at the First Primary School Čakovec, in their first year of learning English, were excited to meet and interview the humanoid robot NAO during an English lesson led by teacher Maja Oltran. The activity offered a fun and motivating way for students to practice their new language skills in an interactive and supportive environment.

The pupils eagerly asked NAO a range of creative and thought-provoking questions, including: Where were you made? Why do robots exist? Have you got a friend? Is chocolate healthy? Are video games good for children? and When is your birthday?

Through this lively exchange, students developed speaking skills, built confidence, and experienced how innovative technology can enrich language learning. NAO’s visit created a positive classroom atmosphere and highlighted the First Primary School Čakovec’s commitment to modern, engaging teaching approaches.
