NAO Robot Brings Innovation to the School Library
At the County Professional Council Meeting of School Librarians, held on 28 November 2025 at Vladimir Nazor Primary School in Pribislavec, three ICT teachers from the First Primary School Čakovec presented the innovative course My Robot, My LearnMate, which integrates the humanoid robot NAO into teaching and learning.
The presentation highlighted the important role of technology in modern classrooms, with a special focus on the use of NAO in the school library as a space for interactive, creative, and interdisciplinary learning. The course introduces participants to contemporary educational technologies while supporting the development of digital skills, creativity, and new teaching approaches when working with students.
During the session, NAO demonstrated its educational potential by interacting with participants and storytelling, showing how humanoid robots can enrich library activities, support programming education, and motivate students through engaging, hands-on experiences.
The presentation inspired librarians and teachers alike, opening new perspectives on the use of robotics and technology in both classrooms and school libraries. It also reaffirmed the school’s commitment to innovation and to creating meaningful learning opportunities for students and educators in an increasingly digital world.
