Sicilian School Representatives Visit Čakovec to Learn About Inclusive Education Practices

As part of the ongoing Erasmus+ partnership, the principal and two project coordinators from I.C. Deledda Coppola – Piazza Maria Montessori, Catania (Italy) visited the Centre for Education and Training Čakovec.

During their visit to the Centre, they met with Principal Robert Posavec, who presented the institution’s work and approaches to supporting students with special educational needs. The guests from Sicily had the opportunity to learn about the school’s inclusive teaching methods, individualized support, and the use of assistive technologies that help create equal learning opportunities for all students.

This exchange deepened the visitors’ understanding of inclusive education in Croatia and strengthened the cooperation between the partner institutions, paving the way for future joint initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion, and innovation in teaching.
