Presentation at Mipro 2025: Gamification and Humanoid Robots in Education

At the international conference Mipro 2025 in Opatija, I. Ružić (First Primary School Čakovec, Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Čakovec, Croatia) delivered a presentation titled “Gamification and Humanoid Robots in Education: Enhancing Student Engagement and Learning Outcomes.”
The presentation was based on a literature review that explored the integration of humanoid robots into education, with a special emphasis on gamification as a strategy to boost student engagement. The review examined research across various educational contexts, analyzing the effects of humanoid robots on motivation and learning outcomes.
Findings showed that when humanoid robots are combined with gamification elements—such as scoring systems, levels, challenges, and interactive tasks—they can significantly enhance the learning experience. This approach supports personalized learning, provides immediate feedback, and strengthens students’ sense of achievement.
In addition to highlighting the pedagogical benefits, the presentation also addressed important aspects such as ethical considerations, data privacy protection, and the crucial role of teachers in effectively integrating humanoid robots into the educational process.
