My Robot, My LearnMate Project: Empowering Education with Robotics and Innovation

My Robot, My LearnMate is a three-year strategic partnership funded by the Erasmus+ programme. The project connects students, teachers, and advanced technology with the goal of enhancing digital competences, creativity, and collaboration through learning with the humanoid NAO robot.

This innovative initiative brings together teachers, technology experts, and researchers to develop an engaging e-course for teachers and create interactive teaching scenarios with the NAO robot acting as a teaching assistant.

The project is led by I. Primary School Čakovec (Croatia), with the following partners:

We are pleased to highlight the successful first project meeting held on December 12–13 at I. Primary School Čakovec and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin. The kick-off meeting marked an inspiring beginning, filled with valuable exchanges of ideas, planning sessions, and a shared vision for the future of education.

Together, the partners defined the project’s goals and activities and began developing a strategy for implementing the e-course and teaching scenarios.

Our mission is to empower teachers with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies, making learning more engaging and productive for students of all ages. The NAO robot will play a key role—not only as a learning tool but also as a partner in fostering creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration in the classroom.
